Works by Eemeli Sahimaa @eemeliaapeli and Aini Alastalo @ainiraakel . Last summer I had the chance to spend an afternoon with Eemeli and Aini in their workroom. I wanted to photograph their works, because they strongly resonated with me. Their works are seemingly alive, immensely tactile and full of motion. For me this project also represented my new path as a carpenter, which continues to go along my photography. Photographing their works felt like a perfect intersection of both worlds. Thank you for hosting me and discussing everything about wood, sculpture and salmon soup.
